Indian System of Medicine (I.S.M.) Laboratory

Construction of the building is completed. Most of the equipments which are required in the laboratory and approved by the Purchase Board have been procured and installed. Proposal to create post sent to the Government vide letter No.DHS(R)/FandD/2009/1856 Dated Shillong 14th April 2009.

The building was inspected by members of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi on 14th January, 2010.

The visiting members express overall satisfactory of the site, infrastructure and equipments already installed. They express keenness as to furthering support to the Indian System of Medicine in term of manpower and equipments.

Proposal for manpower was taken up by the Directorate of Health Services (Medical Institutions) vide letter No. HSM/ISMandH/1/2003/4035 and 4039 dated 17th March, 2010 respectively.
