Animal House
Pasteur Institute, Shillong maintains an Animal House for breeding of laboratory animal, which are required for vaccine production such as Albino Mice, Rabbit and Guinea Pig. Excess animals, however were supplied to Colleges, Universities and even individuals for their research work.

Steps taken
- To improve breed production of experimental animals essential for processing Vaccines (Tetanus). Production and preparation of culture media from sheep needed by Microbiology Section.
